I particularly remember the day I was training solo in a refrigerated storage container at -10°C for 4 hours. It was Cherie who made the long trek out to the depot on a Saturday and sat in the subzero temperatures to enthusiastically support me (not to mention have a laugh at frozen water bottles and jelly snakes), as well as test clothing and equipment to withstand running in the coldest desert on earth.

The times I shared with Cherie are some of my most cherished memories of the Antarctic project. As for the record, I would never have made the 1400km finish line without Cherie’s mentorship. Cherie Horne is one of a kind – a mentor with a rare mix of authenticity, care, dedication and knowledge. I would highly recommend Cherie to guide you on your health and wellbeing journey and to explore what is possible for you.
