Goal achieved - Base Camp Everest, the official rock to signify your trekking achievement.
At 5pm (noon in Nepal), under a cloudless blue sky, an elated Cherie called from Everest Base Camp! The team achieved their goal today and trekked into Base Camp!

Congratulations to Patrick, Glenn, Neil, Susan, Jess and Danny for successfully trekking to the base of the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest. They were stoked, ecstatic, elated, overjoyed, thrilled and, understandably, fatigued after this huge accomplishment! After calling me, Cherie was going to call SEN radio to talk to them live from Base Camp.
