The team left Khumjung early this morning and made a shopping stop for last minute goodies in Namche. A visit to the Namche bakery for a strong coffee and donut is often a highlight!  They then continued downhill to Toktok, where they’ll camp for the night.

Not far to go now…tonight is the team’s last night in tents before an easy walk into Lukla tomorrow. Lukla will no doubt seem like a busy, bustling place after the peace and quiet of the past 10 days in the mountains.  They’ll stay in a teahouse (the Namaste Lodge) in Lukla tomorrow night before the early Sunday morning mad dash to the Lukla airport for their flight back to Kathmandu.
