The countdown begins to my first Everest Base Camp trek for 2013!
On May 4th I will guide six courageous people to the base of the highest mountain in the planet, Mt Everest! This will be a once in a lifetime Himalayan trekking adventure for them all . The Everest region is truly amazing…breathtaking mountains, beautiful people, rich culture and the opportunity for trekkers to immerse themselves in all the magnificence of this awe-inspiring part of the world.
The highlights of my 18 day guided expedition include trekking to Everest Base Camp, climbing Kala Patthar (5550m), viewing the famous Khumbu Ice-Fall and exploring the ancient city of Kathmandu.

Over the past 6 weeks my wonderful team of clients (Kate, Karin, Ian, Michael, Simone & Bill) have been training intensively around Melbourne preparing their bodies for the demands of trekking at altitude for 15 days. This pre-conditioning program I provide includes Simulated Altitude Training (SAT) at my altitude studio.
With only 2 weeks remaining my awesome team continue their hard work training as the excitement and anticipation builds for what will be one of their greatest personal challenges…a truly life changing experience!
I will be covering the entire expedition through Twitter & Facebook so please stay tuned and be part of our incredible Himalayan Everest Base Camp adventure!!

Don’t just dream adventure…Live it today with me!
