SNAP FITNESS UPDATE

Hello friends,

The last few months have been extremely busy with the opening of Melbourne’s first 24 hour Snap Fitness Centre. Our Hampton gym is going fantastic and I’m enjoying training many new clients who are all seeing positive life-changing results.

I am so proud and happy for you all…keep up the fantastic work guys!

In the coming weeks I will be announcing some very exciting news regarding an opportunity of a lifetime that you can be part of in early 2012…

Hint…hint… A Himalayan trekking adventure challenge with me! 😉

MIND OVER MATTER MONTH

This month has been the Royal Children’s Hospital Mind Over Matter Month, a wonderful initiative to raise funds and awareness to help improve the outcomes and quality of life for children and young people living with type 1 diabetes, including treating mental illness and preventing other serious side effects http://www.mindovermattermonth.com.au/

The personal challenge for those involved was to give up something or take up something for just 4 weeks.

So, I thought it would be a good idea to challenge you for the next month by giving up a few things in your life that I believe could benefit you in many ways. Here are 10 ideas:

Go on I dare you to give up….

  1. Negative thinking
  2. Television & Internet
  3. Alcohol & Caffeine
  4. Self pity
  5. Take-away food
  6. Self-sabotage
  7. Chocolate & confectionery
  8. Excuse making & procrastination
  9. Laziness & bad habits
  10. Social media traps – Facebook & Twitter

And replace it with:

  1. Positivity, enthusiasm and belief
  2. Get active indoors – play games, plan a home exercise circuit or do the household chores
  3. Drink water and herbal tea only
  4. Live with an “attitude of gratitude”
  5. Cook wholesome nutritious food at home
  6. Think & behave differently – don’t be a victim of your past
  7. Eat natural raw food – with plenty of colour like a rainbow
  8. Be proactive & commit to non-negotiable behaviours
  9. Have a goal and find a mentor or performance coach to support and encourage  you
  10. Communicate the traditional way – talk face-to-face, write a letter or plan a special outing

Giving up may actually be a positive gain

Try it for the month of August and let me know how you go…I’m cheering you all the way!

Smiles

Cherie 🙂
