Happy weekend friends,
Well, this time in 2 weeks I will be on the plane to Alaska! Wow, the time has almost arrived and now I’m getting really excited! Everything is going to plan, I picked up my flight tickets this week, secured my visa, ordered the last of my gear and completed another solid week of training.

The body is holding up (thanks to the magic hands of Gaz my awesome masseur) and I’m ready to go ‘Into the Alaskan Wild’.

Just some media news…

I will be appearing on live radio this morning. Tune into the Grandstanders, 89.9 Light FM, with Craig Harper and Jane O’Brien between 8am-10am.

Also, I will feature on the front page of The (Chelsea, Mordialloc, Mentone) Independent newspaper this week. I had a photo shoot Wednesday morning in that wild storm that suddenly hit Melbourne. It was perfect training conditions for Denali, the wind was so strong (the poor photographer, Mike almost got blown away) as I dragged my 30kg pack and 25kg sled along the Mentone beach for an awesome photo.
