Base Camp Everest here we come!

Happy Friday friends,

The waiting is over…it’s time to head to the Himalayas!

The goal for my nine guests - Craig, Danny, Erica, Glenn, Jessica, Neil, Patrick, Peter & Susan

This evening my team and I depart our beautiful country and travel to another stunning part of the world, Nepal.

All the hard work in training and preparation has been done, now we can enjoy an incredible Himalayan trekking adventure.

The first time I travelled to Nepal in 2005 I had no idea what a profound influence the mountains would have on me.

Here I am today about to guide 9 first-time trekkers to the base of the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest.

Please enjoy the journey with us and follow our progress as we ascend to a heights above 5000m.

I will be communicating daily via satellite phone with my friend Steph (who I guided to the top of Island Peak last year) who will update you all with our progress. Thank you very much Steph!
