The team trekked from Lobuche to Gorak Shep, 5140m, today.  This afternoon some of the crew did an acclimatisation trek up Kala Patthar, 5550m, to check out the sunset over Mt. Everest and Nuptse.  The top of Kala Patthar is the highest altitude that the team members will reach over the course of the trip.  They are camping at Gorak Shep tonight before tomorrow’s trek to Everest Base Camp!
