Dear Adventure Friends,

I would like to wish you all a very safe and happy Christmas and a New Year full of good health, hope, and love.

There are no words to describe the events of the past 12 months, the entire world has and will continue to be affected
due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sadness with such loss on a global scale and the uncertain impact on the future creates a forever changing world as we enter into a new year. I believe all we can do is continue to demonstrate resilience, compassion, and hope in our lives and embrace all we can to provide as much harmony and love for all under such challenging circumstances.

In regards to my trekking adventures, I am not able to confirm any definitive dates of departure due to the complexities of the COVID-19 virus. I do however believe that international trekking in 2021 will not be possible as I will not take any risks in regards to my clients’ health, safety, and wellbeing.

I am in regular contact with my travel agent FBI Travel and wonderful operators in Nepal (Pasang), Peru (Fermin), and Africa (Gideon) who are keeping me updated with relevant COVID-19 international travel restrictions and permits for adventure trekking.

Therefore, the best we can do, if adventure trekking with me is a goal of yours, is to keep the dream alive in your heart and mind. I hope the future sees us return to the spectacular mountains of our world with a renewed sense of appreciation, unity, and respect for the people and planet that is ours.

Together we must stand, with kindness, compassion, and acceptance for all that is.
